Alex Wells Hoop Dancing

Alex Wells, of the Lil’wat Nation, presents traditional hoop dancing. First Nations Dance and Cultural traditions have been his family’s way of life, and he was brought up through the cultural ceremonies.  Traveling across North America since childhood competing in First Nations dance competitions has brought Alex into making it a professional business and a way of life.  Giving him the natural ability to teach the cultural dances step by step to all ages. Being part of major roles and world indigenous cultural events.

Indigenous Knowledge and Perspectives in K-12 – Traditional and contemporary Aboriginal Arts and arts-making processes:

dances, songs, stories, and objects created by Aboriginal peoples for use in daily life or to serve a purpose inspired by ceremonies or rituals as part of cultural tradition.

The Great Balanzo Show

An old-fashioned style of circus. He’s the last surviving member of the Royal Balanzo who were exiled from their kingdom hundreds of years ago. Since then, they have survived by travelling the world as circus performers. The Great Balanzo is a skilled juggler, balancing maestro, and vaudevillian circus maverick. With a set that unfolds before the audience’s eyes, this is a spectacle of wonder that you won’t want to miss!

Gustavo the Impossibilist

Gustavo the Impossibilist attempts feats of unrealized silliness for your pleasure and amazement. A skilled clown and expert at turning the unexpected into hilarity, Gustavo will bring the house down and leave your students in stitches.
